Questions about 911 address signs
What do counties require for address signs?
It varies by county and fire district: many ask for reflective numbers of a minimum height (often 3 to 6 in), a contrasting background and a sign visible from both directions of the road. Check with your county or fire department, then choose reflective aluminum and both sides if they ask for it.
How big are the numbers?
The builder shows the real number height under the preview as you change the size. A 4-digit number on an 18 x 12 in sign is roughly 6 in tall.
