Questions about private property signs
What is the difference between a private property sign and a posted sign?
A private property sign tells people the land or building is not public. Posted signs are the boundary signs some states describe in their trespass or hunting laws. Check your state's posting guide if you need signs that count as legal notice.
Can I add my own wording?
Yes. Use the extra line for anything short, for example "Violators will be prosecuted" or "Authorized vehicles only".
