Can I add a No trespassing line?

Which size works at a gate?
A 24 x 18 in landscape sign is easier to read from a car at a gate. A 12 x 18 in portrait sign fits a fence post or a narrow pillar. You can also choose 18 x 12 in or 12 x 12 in.
Should I pick aluminum or plastic for a gate?
Aluminum is .040 in thick and rust-free, with holes in the corners or center for screws. Plastic is light, flexible, and printed on one side with brass grommets. Aluminum with two printed sides shows to drivers arriving from either direction.
