Shoplifters Will Be Prosecuted Signs
Stores that have cameras and a clear policy often post a warning near the entrance so customers know the rules as they walk in. This sign states the message in two bold lines and can add a short camera line for shoppers who might miss it.

Questions about shoplifters will be prosecuted signs
Is this sign a legal warning?
The sign states that prosecution will follow, but it does not replace legal advice. What happens after a theft depends on your local rules and your own policy, so check your local rules before you use the wording. Keep the sign short and match it to what staff actually do.
What does the 'Smile, you are on camera' line do?
It is the example extra line, a friendly note that tells shoppers a camera is recording. Only use it when cameras are running, and do not add it to a sign for a camera you do not use. You can type a plainer line instead.
Which material fits a store entrance?
Aluminum is rust-free and printed on one or two sides, so it fits a wall by the door that faces weather. Plastic is light and printed on one side, a good fit for an inside door or a glass panel.
