Where should the sign go?
Put it on the door, the window beside the door or a post along the walkway, at eye level for someone on foot. A sign in the parking lot can also point visitors to the front desk. Check your local rules if the building is a school or a public office, since those may have their own posting rules.
What if I skip the thank you line?
The example 'Thank you' is optional. You can replace it with a short instruction such as 'Ring the bell' or a suite number, or leave the extra field blank. The three main lines already carry the message.
