Choosing the size and where to hang it
The 4 by 2 ft banner fits a gift table or a dessert table. A brunch backdrop or a hall wall suits the 6 by 3 ft size, which most people pick. For a backyard fence or a longer wall, use 8 by 3 ft or 8 by 4 ft. Choose solid vinyl for indoor rooms, and vinyl mesh only for an outdoor fence or porch rail on a windy day. Use removable hooks indoors and zip ties, rope or bungee cords outdoors, pulled snug through the grommets.
Questions about bridal shower banners
What do we type for a bridal shower or an engagement party?
Use the big line for the bride's name, such as Emma, and the top line for BRIDAL SHOWER FOR. The bottom line can hold FROM MISS TO MRS. - JUNE 14. For an engagement party, type ENGAGEMENT PARTY on the top line and both names on the big line, such as Emma and Jake. Keep each line short, since the big line holds 22 characters, the top line 30 and the bottom line 34.
Can we hang it at a restaurant or a venue?
Ask the venue before you hang anything, since private rooms often have their own rules. Once the venue says yes, removable hooks work indoors. Outdoors, run zip ties, rope or bungee cords through the grommets and pull the banner snug so it does not flap. Only the words you type are printed.
How soon should we order?
Set the date and the words first, then place the order. A banner ships in 1 to 2 business days, and ground shipping takes 2 to 5 business days. No arrival day is promised, so plan ahead. Shipping runs $9.99 and is free on orders of $99 or more.
Can we use the names and skip the date?
Yes. The date is optional. Put the bride's name on the big line and BRIDAL SHOWER FOR on the top line, and leave the bottom line empty, since an empty line is left off the print. For a bachelorette weekend, keep the lines to names, the place and the date, and leave out anything else.
What does the monogram option cost?
Design it for me costs $35. With that option you upload your files and notes, and a mockup arrives by email within 1 business day. Two rounds of changes are included. If we create a new logo or a monogram for you, that adds $35 more, and we print only after you sign off on the mockup.
