Questions about loading dock signs
Where should a loading dock sign go?
Mount it on the wall beside each dock door, where a driver can read it before backing in. If trucks use more than one door, put a sign at each one. Check your local code or site rules for any sign height or spacing you need to follow.
Should I pick notice or caution for a loading dock?
Notice (blue) suits a plain parking rule, since no injury hazard is involved. Caution (yellow) fits a dock where trucks, forklifts and pedestrians share the apron and a bump could hurt someone. Pick the header that matches how your yard works.
Can I add a dock number or company name?
Yes. Type the extra line in the builder and the live preview shows it on the exact sign before you order. Keep it short, such as DOCK 4 or the company name, so the main message still reads first.
