Low Clearance Signs
Low clearance signs go at the mouth of a parking garage, at a loading dock and under a canopy or pipe rack where a truck or van can strike the top. Fleet managers, parking garage operators and warehouse supervisors use them to warn drivers before the overhead barrier.

Questions about low clearance signs
Where should a low clearance sign go?
Mount it on a wall or post before the low point, so drivers see it while they can still stop or turn. Place one on each approach if vehicles can enter from two sides. Your site's measured clearance decides where the sign has to sit.
Can I get it reflective for night driving?
Yes. The reflective version uses engineer-grade vinyl on .040 in aluminum, which shows in headlights and helps drivers after dark. Reflective comes in 12 x 18 in only, so plan the size around that.
Which material suits a garage?
Aluminum is .040 in and rust-free, printed on one or two sides, with 1/4 in holes if you want to bolt it up. Plastic is .020 in, light and flexible, printed on one side, with brass grommets for a hook or tie.
