Danger or warning?
DANGER (red) is for a fuel area where a spark or flame will cause death or serious injury, such as a fill point or an open tank. WARNING (orange) fits a storage area where that risk could cause death or serious injury but is less immediate. Your fire plan or local fire official sets the level for your site.
Where should the fuel signs go?
Put one at each fuel point, on the pump, a post or a wall where the person filling can see it. Add a sign at the yard gate so people read it before they reach the fuel.
