Where restaurant banners are used

A food truck that parks at the same lot every Friday hangs a restaurant banner on the fence beside its spot, so people walking past know it is there. A noodle shop puts a DRIVE THRU OPEN banner by its lane for the dinner rush, and a sandwich counter uses CURBSIDE PICKUP on the sidewalk side of its window. The owner wants a short message that works at the speed of a walk or a slow turn, and each design answers the question a hungry person has right away: can I eat here now?

Choosing the size and where to hang it

For a front window or door, use the 4 by 2 ft or 6 by 2 ft size, and the 6 by 3 ft or 8 by 3 ft size for a wall by the entrance or a lot fence. Solid 13 oz vinyl works on storefront walls, windows and railings. A wall takes screws, and a railing or fence takes zip ties or bungee cords through the grommets. Set it where people walking up to the counter can read the lines at a glance.

Questions about restaurant banners

How many lines can I type on a custom restaurant banner?

Three lines. Line one is the big line and is required, such as PIZZA NIGHT. Lines two and three are optional, so you can add the hours or a phone number. The preview shows the words exactly as they print.

Which design works for a drive-thru lane?

DRIVE THRU OPEN tells cars that the lane takes orders. CURBSIDE PICKUP suits a lot where staff bring food out to parked cars, and TAKE OUT fits a counter that sends orders home. Pick the design that matches how people buy from you.

What colors and mounting does it need?

Custom banners come in six color pairs, such as white on red or black on yellow. Hang it with zip ties or bungee cords through the grommets on a railing, or with screws on a wall. It prints on one side, so face it toward the street.

How do I change the special each week?

Each banner is printed to the wording you enter, so a new special means a new order. Plan the order a few days ahead, since banners ship in 1 to 2 business days. Check the live preview before you pay each time.

Can the banner show the restaurant name and hours?

Yes. Put the name on line one and the hours on line two, or use line three for a phone number. The preview shows exactly how the lines sit on the banner, so you can adjust the wording before you order.
