Questions about designated smoking area signs
Do I need to check local rules before posting a smoking sign?
Yes. Smoking rules change from one city to the next, so check your local rules before you choose the spot. This sign only names the area you set aside. It does not state what the law requires.
Can I add a line about the ash bin?
Yes. A short line such as Please use the ash bin prints under DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA. The preview shows how the two parts fit together as you type. Keep it to a few words so people can read it from a few steps away.
Which material suits an outdoor patio sign?
Aluminum is .040 in thick and rust-free with a gloss UV print, so it suits a wall or post outside. Plastic is lighter and more flexible, printed on one side, with brass grommets. Pick aluminum for a sign that faces all kinds of weather.
