Which header fits a blind driveway?
CAUTION (yellow) works for a quiet residential or farm exit where a minor scrape is the likely outcome. WARNING (orange) fits a busier road, a truck exit or any drive where a crash could cause serious injury. Choose the header that matches the worst case you see from the driver's seat.
Where should I mount it?
Mount it on a post or fence on the driveway side, at a height and angle that a driver can read before reaching the road edge. Keep it clear of branches and snow piles. Aluminum takes 1/4 in holes at the corners for bolts, and plastic has brass grommets for zip ties.
Is a reflective version available?
Yes. Reflective aluminum uses engineer-grade reflective vinyl on .040 aluminum and shows in headlights at night. It is currently sold in 12 x 18 in only, so pick it for a driveway used after dark and confirm the size suits your post.
