Where custom spanish safety signs are used

A loading dock supervisor may want a panel above the dock door, where forklift operators read it before backing a trailer in. A roofing or framing crew can post one on the ladder rack or the material gate, where workers who are more comfortable in Spanish stop to check the job rules. Food plants and shops also use a bilingual header beside a press, a saw or a walk-in cooler door. The problem is plain: a message printed only in English can be missed by part of the crew, and a supervisor cannot be at every door.

Choosing the size and where to hang it

Choose the 36 by 24 inch size for a dock wall or shop entrance, which reads from a few steps, and the 24 by 18 inch size for a machine guard or a door. Aluminum is the pick for an outdoor dock or a damp shop, while plastic suits a dry indoor wall. Reflective aluminum is for a yard gate that trucks reach at night. Aluminum with holes can take bolts, and plastic grommets take zip ties. Check your state and local rules for safety signs at your site.

Questions about custom spanish safety signs

Can I type Spanish accents and the letter ñ?

Yes. Type them as you normally would (á, é, í, ó, ú, ü, ñ, ¿ and ¡). The preview and the print file use the same letters, so what you see is what prints.

Who checks my Spanish wording?

You do: the sign prints exactly as typed. If the wording is for a safety rule at work, check it with your safety officer or a Spanish speaker on your team before you order.

Which header should I choose?

Danger / Peligro (red) for a hazard that will cause death or serious injury, Warning / Advertencia (orange) for one that could, Caution / Precaución (yellow) for minor injury, Notice / Aviso (blue) for information.

Can I use just one line in each language?

Yes. Each language has an optional second line, so one English line and one Spanish line makes a complete sign. Keep every line short so the letters stay big enough to read from a few steps away, and check the live preview before you order.

Will the printed panel match the live preview?

It matches what the preview shows, because the preview draws each line as you type it. Check every letter, accent and the ñ in both languages, since a typo prints exactly as typed. Ask a Spanish speaker on your team to read the final text before you pay, because the wording stays your responsibility.
