Where should a fire extinguisher sign be placed?
Mount it above or beside each extinguisher, where someone walking down the aisle can see it. If units are spread far apart, put a sign at each one, and keep shelves and carts from hiding it. Your fire marshal or building inspector sets the placement rules for your building.
What does the Do Not Block line ask people to do?
It reminds staff to keep stock, carts and equipment away from the extinguisher so it can be reached fast. For the header, pick blue Notice for information or red Danger for a hazard that will cause death or serious injury.
Can I add a unit number or floor?
Type it into the builder's optional line, and the preview redraws the sign with your text in place. A unit number, floor or hall name all work well in that spot.
