Questions about electrical hazard signs
Danger or Warning for a fence?
Red Danger is the default for a hazard that will cause death or serious injury. Orange Warning is for a hazard that could cause death or serious injury. Ask your safety officer or check your local code to match the header to the gear behind the fence.
Can I use it outside?
Aluminum is rust-free and printed with UV ink, so it suits gates and fences in damp or sunny spots. The 0.040 in thickness is firmer than plastic, which is lighter and printed on one side only. Choose the material that suits where the sign will hang.
How do I fasten it to a fence?
Four-corner holes at 1/4 in suit a flat gate or fence panel. For a narrow post, pick top-corner holes or center top and bottom holes. Pick your hole pattern when you order so it lines up with the fence rails you already have.
