Where graduation yard signs are used
Families stand these in the lawn the week of the ceremony, and they stay up through the party. Schools and booster clubs sometimes order one for every senior as a surprise, and neighbors notice whole streets lined with them each spring. They also work for a college graduate coming home, a new nurse, a military school graduate or a family celebrating the first in the family to finish. On party day, the sign doubles as the marker that shows guests which house to find.
Where to put it
Set it near the front walk so it shows up in the family photos, and face it toward the street. For a party, a second sign by the nearest corner with an arrow on the bottom line helps guests find you. Spring ground is usually soft enough for the stake, though a dry yard may need a little water first.
Questions about graduation yard signs
Can a graduation yard sign match our school colors?
The Lettering colors list has pairs such as navy and gold, maroon and gold, and black and gold. Balloon designs also come in several color mixes, so pick the pair closest to your school.
Can I put the school name on the sign?
Yes. Use the top or bottom line for the school and the class year, such as Lincoln High Class of 2027. Type only the plain name: school logos and mascots need the school's permission.
When should I order a graduation sign?
Allow 3 to 7 business days from order to delivery, and more in May and June when carriers are busy. A sign that arrives early can stay in its box until the day.
Can we order signs for a whole class or team?
Yes. Add each senior as a separate sign with their own name, since each name is its own design. The price counts each design on its own quantity, so ask us about a big group order first.
Is there a version with the student's photo?
These designs use artwork, not photos. For a photo sign, choose Design it for me and send the picture with your notes. Our Graduation Banners also come with your own photo on vinyl.
