Sponsor Banners

Youth teams, travel ball, rec soccer and high school booster clubs order sponsor banners for the local businesses that back them. With Your words, line 1 is the big business name and lines 2 and 3 add a team line or a phone number. Choose Your words, PROUD SPONSOR or THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS, then pick a color pair. Mesh opens first for fences, and vinyl is also offered.

Helpful guides

Where sponsor banners are used

An outfield fence is the classic spot: a sponsor's name goes up on mesh, and wind passes through it. A dugout fence takes its own banner, with the same words or a different sponsor name. Each sponsor gets a banner of its own, so one fence can carry several names. The scoreboard, the concession stand and the gym wall suit solid vinyl, which has no open holes. Booster clubs can also use a THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS banner at the season's last home game.

Choosing the size and where to hang it

For an outfield fence, the 8 by 3 ft or 8 by 4 ft mesh covers the most length. Dugout fences take the 6 by 2 ft or 6 by 3 ft mesh. A narrow stretch of fence fits the upright 2 by 4 ft or 3 by 6 ft, in mesh or vinyl. Put solid vinyl on the scoreboard, concession stand or gym wall. Zip ties or bungee cords through the grommets, pulled snug, keep it from flapping.

Questions about sponsor banners

Can we put the sponsor's logo on the banner?

The builder sets words only. For a logo, add Design it for me for $35: upload the logo with your notes, and we email a mockup within 1 business day. Two rounds of changes are included, and nothing is printed until you approve it. If we have to create a new logo, that is $35 more. The business must have the right to use the logo.

Mesh or vinyl: which one goes on a dugout fence?

Mesh has small open holes, so wind passes through it. That suits outfield and dugout fences, including chain link. Vinyl is solid, so it suits a scoreboard, concession stand or gym wall. Both come in the sizes on this page, and the live preview shows the words exactly as they print on either one.

What goes on each design's lines?

Your words has a required big line 1, such as the business name, plus optional lines 2 and 3, such as a team or a phone number and website. PROUD SPONSOR has a fixed headline and two optional lines for the team or league and the business. THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS has a fixed headline and two optional lines. The dashed example text in the preview is not printed.

Do the savings apply when each sponsor gets its own name?

Not across different names. Each sponsor name makes a different banner, so the 10% and 15% savings count copies of one banner with the same words only. Five copies of one banner save 10%, and ten copies save 15%. A league that orders one banner per sponsor pays the regular price for each.

Can one banner go on both sides of a fence?

No. Each banner is printed on one side only, so a fence seen from both sides needs one banner for each side. Two copies of the same banner do not reach the five-copy savings mark, so the regular price applies to both. If the sponsor wants a second banner, the mesh or vinyl choice can differ for each side.
